- Also be mindful of medication like steroids and antibiotics as these can cause you to be more sensitive to a service
post-care
- Only use gentle, hydrating products the week after treatment
- Do NOT exfoliate or use any active products the week after treatment
- Hydrocortisone may be used if itching and flaking persist
- Do NOT peel your skin no matter how tempting it is, it will come off naturally
- Scissors may be used to cut off large, flaking pieces
- Avoid direct sun exposure
- Always apply SPF before you go outside to ensure no damage or increased sensitivity occurs
- Avoid strenuous exercise that causes perspiration for 24-48 hours after treatment
- You may apply makeup 24 hours after treatment
